Give relief and support, not just flowers, for Administrative Professional’s Week.
This last year, many administrative professionals have seen the businesses they support go remote. Often times their responsibilities have followed them home.
Normally companies add staff to deal with an increased workload, but due to this year’s uncertainty, have instead relied on their existing administrative support staff to carry the load. Often this is done while the employee is working at home. In fact, according to a survey conducted by SHRM, the majority of job postings created in the last year that allowed working from home were in the Administrative sector.
We are very thankful for all of the administrative professionals that choose to work with Parker Staffing. Like many other occupations, we’ve seen admins successfully manage an increased work load while juggling the needs of their family in a pandemic. However in addition to their tasks, admins usually end up supporting many other departments and managers. So for employers looking for a way to show appreciation outside of flowers, consider providing additional support to one of the hardest working groups of employees out there.
