The Parker Blog:

If you Move to Seattle, Consider Living in West Seattle

Some call it its own little suburb. Others will say it’s its own thriving town. Our Senior Recruiter, Gayle Luchini, actually prefers to call it “home.”

Without West Seattle, Seattle wouldn’t exist. It was discovered in 1851, and though most of the original founders left to go slightly further East to what is now Pioneer Square, some stayed behind, embracing the beautiful little peninsula now known as West Seattle.

And now? There are over 79,000 people living in West Seattle – and that number is still growing. This could be due to the affordability of home and apartment rentals compared to other locations in the city and the beauty and unique attributes of the area – or it could be that people just really dig living here!

Do you prefer having your own yard or garden?

Are you looking for a place safe and welcoming for the whole family?

You may want to consider living in West Seattle.

In the second video for our “Where Parker People Live” series, Gayle takes us to four of West Seattle’s best neighborhoods, and also shares insight into rental information, demographics, and transit/walk scores in West Seattle.  You can check out her video below.
