Costco is very keen on giving back to their communities. For example, every school year since 1993, Costco launches a Backpack Program, where students around the world close to Costco locations receive backpacks full of school supplies to start their year off on the right foot. This program is implemented worldwide, from right here in Washington to the United Kingdom, and even to Korea! Costco is very adamant about giving back to the communities that house and support them every single day.
